Vision, Mission and Key objectives : 

The Admn. Branch cater the needs and look after the administrative and establishment matter of all the Group A & B (Gazetted) (Cadre & Ex-Cadre) Officers and Group- C (Cadre & Ex-Cadre) Officials working on strength of Department of Women and Child Development. It aims for timely disposal of all the Daks and administrative grievances and other related service matters.

Functions and duties : 

It aims to discharge the following functions:-

  1. Recruitment
  2. Framing/Amendments of Recruitment Rules
  3. Service Matter
  4. Pension
  5. PGMS, CPGRAM, RTI Matters
  6. Creation of post
  7. Office management
  8. Court cases
  9. Miscellaneous subject

Any other details-the genesis, inception, formation of the department and the HoDs from time to time as well as the Committees/ Commissions constituted from time to time have been dealt :

The Department of Women and Child Development, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, is created in the year 2007, however, the Department of social Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, had been the cadre controlling authority of the former. The Department of Women and Child Development has become its own cadre controlling authority in the year 2020.
